Getting Started
Create a Turo account
Head to Turo and sign up for a free account. You can register with your email address or via Google or Apple. It only takes a couple of minutes.
Sign up on TuroVerify your driving licence
Turo requires all drivers to verify their driving licence before booking. You'll upload a photo of your licence through the app or website. UK licences are fully supported.
Verify your licenceFind and book one of our cars
Once your account is set up, browse our listings directly. Select your dates, add any extras, and confirm your booking.
Browse our cars on TuroCollect your car
We'll confirm the handover details through Turo's messaging system. On the day, we'll meet you at the agreed location, do a quick walkthrough of the car, and hand over the keys.
How Turo trips workGood to Know
Yes. Turo is a well-established peer-to-peer car hire platform operating in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia. All bookings are covered by Turo's protection plans and their support team is available around the clock.
No. Turo's protection plans cover you for the duration of your trip. You choose your level of cover at the time of booking — no separate insurance policy is needed.
Minimum age requirements vary by car. The C Class and Fiat 500 requires drivers to be 25 or over. The E Class and Tesla Model 3 both require drivers to be over 30. These are set by Turo and are confirmed at the time of booking on Turo.
No — all bookings must be made through Turo. This protects both you and us with proper insurance cover and a secure payment process. We do not accept direct bookings under any circumstances.
Turo has a 24/7 support line for any issues during your trip. You can also message us directly through Turo's in-app messaging and we'll do our best to help as quickly as possible.
